The Global Quality Assurance Initiative (GQAI) is designed to promote collaboration and research focused on strengthening quality assurance practices across the global higher education landscape. Through GQAI, members are encouraged to:
Undertake comprehensive research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge on international quality assurance standards and methodologies.
Provide guidance and support to institutions and accreditation/quality assurance bodies in expanding their international engagement.
Champion the creation of policies that enhance academic quality within the global higher education system.
Facilitate a platform for dialogue and exchange of insights on global quality assurance practices.
Explore and evaluate key international policy issues related to academic quality.
Deliver research-based guidance and advisory support to educational institutions, accrediting bodies, governments, and other stakeholders at both national and international levels.
Partner with domestic and international organizations to address evolving challenges, opportunities, and concerns in global quality assurance.
